Overview

Tascey is committed to providing a secure, trusted marketplace for freelancers and buyers worldwide. This Trust & Safety Policy describes the standards and rules that apply to all users, and the actions Tascey may take to protect the community and comply with applicable laws, including international standards, the EU GDPR, California CCPA principles, and Pakistan's Personal Data Protection Bill (2023).

These rules complement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, account termination, legal action, or reporting to authorities.

User Responsibilities

Prohibited Conduct

Users must not use Tascey to engage in:

Buyer & Seller Guidelines

Buyers: Be clear about deliverables, timelines, and payment. Use Tascey’s payment and dispute processes for protection. Do not ask sellers to transact off-platform to avoid fees or protections.

Sellers: Accurately describe services and deliver as promised. Do not inflate ratings, misrepresent portfolios, or accept payment off-platform to avoid protections and tax/AML checks.

Both buyers and sellers should document agreements in messages and use Tascey’s systems for delivery and payment to preserve dispute evidence.

Fraud, Abuse & AML

Tascey actively monitors for patterns indicating fraud, money laundering, unauthorized account access, and other abuses. We employ automated and manual review, risk scoring, identity verification, transaction monitoring and third-party AML/sanctions services.

If suspicious activity is detected, Tascey may: suspend transactions, freeze funds, require additional verification, and report activity to financial institutions or regulators as required. Users must cooperate with any investigation and provide requested information for compliance checks.

Intellectual Property

Tascey respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on Tascey infringes your copyright or trademark, follow our DMCA/notice process (or applicable local process). Tascey will respond to valid takedown notices and may terminate repeat infringers.

Conversely, do not post or sell works you do not own or have the right to use. Misuse may lead to removal of content and account action.

Child Safety

Tascey does not permit the posting or distribution of sexual content involving minors or material that exploits or endangers children. We comply with global child protection laws and will escalate credible reports to law enforcement.

If you suspect content involves minors, report it immediately using the reporting channel below.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or conduct that violates Tascey policies or the law, please report it promptly. Provide as much detail and evidence as possible (screenshots, message IDs, transaction IDs).

Email: support@tascey.com

In urgent situations involving imminent harm or criminal conduct, contact local law enforcement and include Tascey’s reference in any report.

Cooperation with Law Enforcement & Legal Process

Tascey cooperates with lawful requests from governments and law enforcement. We may disclose user data in response to valid legal process, to prevent imminent harm, or to enforce our Terms of Service.

We will seek to provide notice to users where required by law, unless prohibited by a lawful order.

Disputes, Enforcement & Appeals

Tascey attempts to resolve disputes fairly. Typical enforcement steps include warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, or removal of content.

If you believe enforcement action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting support@tascey.com. Appeals will be reviewed in accordance with our procedures; submission of an appeal does not guarantee reversal.

Jurisdiction & Governing Law

Tascey is governed by the laws of Pakistan for internal governance and primary legal matters. We also recognize and act in accordance with applicable international laws and user rights (for example GDPR and CCPA protections where relevant). For cross-border enforcement and legal claims, Tascey may engage in legal processes in other jurisdictions as appropriate.

Nothing in this policy prevents Tascey from seeking injunctive relief or other equitable remedies in any competent jurisdiction.

Other Important Matters

Sanctions & Export Controls: Users must comply with trade controls and sanctions regimes. Tascey may block or restrict transactions to comply with sanctions or export control laws.

Automated Enforcement & Monitoring: We use automated systems for detection of abuse and may act on automated findings pending human review when necessary to prevent harm.

Recordkeeping & Evidence: Tascey may retain records of communications and transactions for investigation, enforcement, fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.
