1. Introduction

Welcome to Tascey. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Tascey platform, website, applications, products and services. By creating an account, accessing, or using Tascey, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2. About Tascey

Tascey is a global freelance marketplace that connects clients and independent freelancers. Tascey provides a platform for users to discover services, create contracts, fund milestones, communicate, and manage projects. Tascey is not an employer, agency, or party to agreements between clients and freelancers.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Tascey.
• You must provide accurate and complete information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may not create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions or suspensions.
• Tascey may require identity verification at any time.

4. Marketplace Services

Clients may post jobs, purchase services, fund milestones, and hire freelancers through the platform. Freelancers may submit proposals, offer services, complete work, and receive payments according to the agreed contract terms.

5. Contracts & Milestones

When a client hires a freelancer or purchases a service, a contract may be created on the platform. Milestones may be funded by the client and held until completion, approval, refund, dispute resolution, or other actions permitted by these Terms.

6. Escrow Services

Funds deposited for milestone-based work may be held in escrow or a designated holding arrangement until release conditions are met. Tascey reserves the right to place holds, delays, reviews, or restrictions on transactions where required for compliance, fraud prevention, disputes, or payment processing requirements.

7. Payments & Fees

• Clients agree to pay all applicable fees associated with contracts and services.
• Freelancers may be charged platform service fees.
• Currency conversion, payment processor fees, banking fees, or withdrawal fees may apply.
• All fees are subject to change with reasonable notice.

8. Withdrawals

Freelancers may request withdrawal of eligible funds subject to account verification, fraud checks, payment processor requirements, reserve policies, and applicable laws. Tascey reserves the right to delay, reject, or reverse withdrawals where necessary.

9. Disputes & Resolution

If a dispute arises between a client and freelancer, Tascey may review available evidence and facilitate a resolution process. Tascey's decision regarding escrowed funds, platform conduct, and account actions may be final where permitted by law.

10. Chargebacks & Payment Reversals

If a payment is reversed, disputed, charged back, or determined to be fraudulent, Tascey may recover funds, suspend accounts, place holds on balances, reverse transactions, or take other actions necessary to protect the platform and its users.

11. Prohibited Activities

• Fraudulent or deceptive activity.
• Money laundering or financial abuse.
• Copyright infringement.
• Harassment, threats, or abusive conduct.
• Attempting to bypass platform fees.
• Uploading malicious software or harmful content.
• Violating applicable laws or regulations.

12. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, trademarks, logos, software, and materials remain the property of Tascey or its licensors unless otherwise stated. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

13. Suspension & Termination

Tascey may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, presents legal or financial risk, engages in suspicious activity, or threatens the safety and integrity of the platform.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tascey shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from the use of the platform. Users accept that marketplace transactions involve independent third parties.

15. Changes to These Terms

Tascey may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales unless otherwise required by applicable law.
